They do not have nor support a DC-9 for P3D. If you got it to work, it's a hack. *IF* they have stated that it is prohibited from use in P3D, that's another matter.

IAC, how can you have a problem with their attitude when it is not being used according to their license.

When you try to fit a square peg into a round hole, don't complain to the maker of the square peg.

You absolutely fully and completely didn't understand my comment: I don't like their attitude not because they don't provide support for P3D, I know it is FSX only and no P3D support is possible. I said I don't like their attitude because they don't care to put effort to upgrade it to P3D knowing that tons of customers who bought it (remember, it is business, not a respecting-communism where you have to worship and thank for what there is, which I thought nobody likes...) want to move it to P3D or at least willing to pay for upgrade or buy it for P3D. Customer relations, that's what it's called I think... )))))

Anyway, "don't like" was a strong word/statement, I have no problem with anyone and anything :)

The planes flies and interacts well, happy with my first flight.

There is another one by SkySim for P3D, anybody can comment on that one?

Yes, I did misunderstand your comment. You every right to express your displeasure at them for not providing a P3D version but theirs is a business. They have to evaluate cost of development against potential return. Considering the number of people who complain about having to pay for a new version - I don't blame them.

There are good comments about the SkySim version.

After the DC9 flight I got myself a CS P3D 727, not so good as DC9. The FSX DC9 lives better with P3D than a P3D 727 which is so behind....

It is also inferior to FlyJSim Xplane version, but at the moment I am primarily into P3D.

I wish I could use the FJS 727 and 737 in P3D, but here is where your round/square example makes perfect sense ;-)))))

I love the CS 727 and L1011 - sure, they're old tech a/c but they are fun to fly. Unfortunately there are some older a/c that just will not work in P3D. I think some of them use FS9 gauges or stuff that was specific to Acceleration.

I'm thinking about the SkySim DC9 - haven't made up my mind yet.

"Tons of customers" tends to be a few thousand or so sales on a ripping good release, and there are not many developers out there that pull off numbers like that. Considering that when it was released P3D was not around your belief that they should somehow feel obligated to now upgrade their product to work in a different sim is like saying that someone that bought a Delorean way back when should expect that the car should now be made available again with today's hybrid technology.
