Looks great! Now if you can just rig a few cargo skids to slide off the ramp and pop a chute, I'll start having flashbacks!

Could we combine that with a JATO takeoff as the cargo door is closing?;)

Sorta like this! Couldn't really come up with pallets being yanked off with parachutes!

Great shots Adam, I love Edwards AFB. Long runways and you can float for as long as you want in flares! Are you using a special scenery for it?

Nice Mr Zippy! My fondest memory of the JATO pack takeoff was seeing a C-130 taking off of the USS Enterprise in Subic Bay. (1967?)

Thank you sir! My only experience with JATO was watching some of the A-3s in the squadron practicing takeoffs at Whidbey just before our WestPac cruise in 1970. I think the Maintenance Chief explained that there are real hot days in Da Nang that required the heavier aircraft to use JATO.

Captain Sim? I went to their site and looked for C-130. LOL, I believe they had as many versions of the C-130 on offer as the Air Force flies!

MIA: Which of their many C-130s have you shown? I see pro versions, upgrade versions, tankers, & every other kind of versions, it's overwhelming! $15 +/- to $60 +/- is quite a range.

Purchase advice?
