Sophisticated 2D Panel, Payware add suggestions

Old thread title, but still enjoy 2D panel with working, most realistic panels possible.

Looking at the QW146, (used a 146 panel in FS98 that was great). Just re-invigorating FSX interest. Would appreciate any comments on good addon aircraft with good 2D panels that will challenge, but not overwhelm.

Licensed private pilot, but sim for relaxation, scenery, weather, and approaches. Will go payware, but avoiding `heavy options - prefer regional, executive, up to 737.

Thanks for comments,

New system, moderate capability:

I5-6600K @ 3.50 GHz

8.00 GB DDR4 RAM

64-bit operating

GTX 950 2GB DDR5

512GB M.2 SSDrive

Have you tried any of the default aircraft? I consider the default Lear Jet 45 as having a pretty good 2d panel. Being a real world pilot and having two side views to show me a wrap around effect, I consider the Lear 2d panel to work very well.
Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

I'll check out that panel as well. That may be best option for me. Lear & default 737 have been my regulars. Wanted to up challenge with a 2D that included functional FMC, and more operational, sophisticated panel. Friendly looks like the trick. Thanks for suggestion.

I wanted to list one more that I have and fly in the 2D cockpit. Trying to stay in the "Executive" class. There is also an updated panel in the zipfile above this download.

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

Though it doesn't have the FMC, I'm really fond of the 2d glass panel on my new favorite free download plane, the Honda Jet. The glass panel has traffic track and some other features that I think are pretty cool.

And yes, the Honda Jet is in this site's library.

Though it doesn't have the FMC...

There is a freeware Honeywell FMC in the Library here that you can add in to any plane you like. Not being a big fan of the tubes, I don't use it, but I've seen it mentioned a number of times in various threads.

Just a little tid-bit, if you're interested...

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

Some payware that have 2D panels that come to my mind.

Flysimlabs Concorde

Maddog

Coolsky DC-9 and MD-80 Series

There is also the freeware FS2004 Caravelle panel. I think you can get it to work for FSX as well. Looks absolutely amazing! I think it is a work of art personally.

The QW146 you mentioned also has a 2D panel.
