Sidney Schwartz
I'm trying out iFMS, a universal FMC that runs on an android device and links to FSX. In the instructions for importing a flight plan into iFMS it says: "Important, a flight plan file must have the ".fp" extension for iFMS to recognise it as a new flight plan file." I have no idea how to create a flight plan with an .fp extension. Does anyone know what that is?
PhantomTweak
Just use the Sim's default Flight Planner. Set up your flight with way points, start/end points, whatever, then save it. When you select the Save button it will pop up a dialog box asking where you want to save it and what name to give it. Once you save it, bingo! Flight Plan file in FP format, wherever you told it to save it to, so you can easily find it with your Android device. If you use PlanG, it also has a choice, when making a flight plan, to save it in FSX format, or .fp files. Does this help you any?
