beroun
Hi, For some reason my add-on Concorde, when slewed (Y) to a different airport location (runway end) and after getting out of the slew mode (Y) the brakes release, aircraft accelerates and starts taking off? This is in spite of it having the brakes on and engines idling before slewing. Consequently I can only taxi this aircraft, cannot slew it. Any idea, why this is happening. Is there anything I could do in the aircraft cfg or panel cfg files to prevent this? FYI. In case of default aircraft, when I cheat and slew aircraft to a different runway end, it just sits there as before with idling engines and brakes on, the same way before I slew it! darrenvox
I've had that issue but cannot remember where you change the settings....its in each aircraft.cfg file somewhere...thankfully there's a fs aircraft manager tool to work with it WJA221, BFL0200, ASA2703 http://www.darrensfs9site.weebly.com http://darrensflightsimblog.blogspot.com/ https://discord.gg/6d5V7Qu << <<<fs9 discord
tiger1962
Before pressing 'Y' again to exit slew mode, always press F1 first. This sets the aircraft at ground level and the brakes will be applied. Some aircraft go just above ground level in slew mode and FS thinks they're flying when you exit slew mode. rthrosby
You could also try your aircraft config file.Go to Contact Points and reduce the amount in "static_cg_heights=" , as the present setting might have it sitting just clear of the ground. Hope this lets you fully enjoy your flying again. Roy.
