ericlin1234
Hi guys! I want to know what graphics card I should use for FSX to get good frame rates. I have a very, very low budget, about $60.00, but if you recommend a graphics card that is a little bit more expensive, I will still consider it. Right now, I am using a lot of addons, and it keeps on saying that Intel Display Drivers have stopped responding and recovered. Then, my FSX freezes, so, I thought about getting a new GPU. My PC Specs: Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Pro 4 CPU: Intel i5-4590 3.3 GHz Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4600 Hard Drive: Toshiba 1TB 7200 RPM Ram: Corsair DDR3 8 GB (2x4GB) 1333 MHz PSU: Corsair CX600 Addons: SP1 Sp2 FTX Orbx Global Ultimate Traffic 2 Active Sky Next FSDreamTeam Ground Services X FlyTampa Dubai Rebooted OMDB UK2000 London Heathrow EGLL Bridge Guangzhou Baiyun ZGGG Wing Creation Narita RJAA Taxi2Gate Hong Kong VHHH Again, the budget is about $60. If you have recommendations that are a little bit more expensive, I will still consider it! Thank you so much!
il88pp
Geforce. With active cooling. (a fan that cools it built in.) PCI-Express. With your budget that is GT730 I think, or maybe a GT610. MSI GeForce GT 730 2GB V2 - 2GB - PCI-E ASUS GeForce GT610-1GD3-L - 1GB - PCI-E I very much prefer that first choice. Make sure it has the right connector for the monitor you have. I expect it will. CRJ_simpilot
FSX, FS2004 are CPU dependent, not GPU dependent. 80% of the frame rates are rendered in the CPU not the GPU. So any GPU will suffice it won't help frames rates. If you want good frames rates you want the best CPU. OOM errors? Read this. What the squawk? An awesome weather website with oodles of Info. and options. Wile E. Coyote would be impressed.
