JSMR
Noticed in the new files for 2004 section a FDE update for some of the Carenado aircraft. I tried some out and really impressed. Unfortunately, Carenado and realistic FDE don't seem to go together. But this seems download with airfield and Cfg updates improves them a little. Anyone else tried it? https://fshub.io/airline/RUA/overview
gwillmot
Tried on C152 .... not bad. Tried on C185 ..... not impressed as it turned into a twitchy beast. I didn't go any farther. I'm keeping default and probably won't know the better. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
jgf
Well, Carenado has been around quite a while and has a good reputation. I would assume someone creating payware aircraft would use "real world specs" for its physics. We are now offered alternate physics based on "real world specs", but with no explanation of how these real world specs differ from those Carenado used. It would take someone with intimate knowledge of the real aircraft to say which interpretation is more accurate in the sim.
