Double J
I have these two files 77waanew_308878.zip and os773v2_dlh_318856.zip from AVISM. When I put the two together the jpg shows up in the aircraft list but it says model fails to launch. From what I can tell they are the correct model match. any ideas as to why the mismatch? mrzippy
After a tiny bit of finagling, I was able to get it to work. I did not use the [Fltsim.xxx] from the README file but just copied the [Fltsim.0] from the Lufthansa and made some changes to it. [fltsim.0] title=Boeing 777-300ER Lufthansa sim=Boeing777-300ER-GE-ProjectOpensky model=GE panel=B777 sound=GE texture=lufthansa atc_id=D-AIMZ atc_airline=LUFTHANSA atc_flight_number=74 atc_heavy=1 atc_parking_types=GATE,RAMP atc_parking_codes=DLH ui_manufacturer=Boeing ui_type=777-300ER ui_variation=Lufthansa ui_typerole=Commercial Airliner ui_createdby=Project Opensky - AlvinRepaints visual_damage=1 description=The 777-300ER ("ER" for Extended Range) is the B-market version of the -300. It features raked and extended wingtips, a new main landing gear, reinforced nose gear, and extra fuel tanks. The -300ER also has a strengthened fuselage, wings, empennage, and engine attachments. The standard GE90-115B turbofan is the world's most powerful jet engine in service, with a maximum thrust of 115,300 lbf (513 kN). The maximum range is 7,930 nautical miles (14,690 km), made possible due to a higher MTOW along with the increased fuel capacity. The -300ER can fly approximately 34 percent further than the -300 with a full load of passengers and cargo. Following flight testing, the implementation of engine, wing, and weight modifications produced an added 1.4 percent reduction in fuel consumption. PAULCRAIG
I did notice that there is discrepancy between the sim= entries of the Lufthansa (os773v2_dlh_318856.zip) & the AA (77waanew_308878.zip) in the fltsim details in the aircraft.cfg, the sim= should be the same as the air file name. Double J
Thanks for that, like most Posky files trying to put two of them together is like putting a square peg in a round hole. I see the jetway doesn't work on this one either and the groundservices utilities are a mismatch as well. Who ever painted this AA texture also screwed up on the tail...LOL. I found the exit numbers from another download but they don't even work on the one it came with LOL.
Double J
Well there is another first. You have to be parked almost at the right place or the jetway will not deploy with this 777 the numbers do work.. Takes a bit of guess work depending on the airport. Double J
Well that was fun, after I got it all to work, I loaded it to my flight sim PC from my laptop I upgraded the sound and the flight dynamics. Flew it for 20 minutes than sent it to the recycle bin. That really is an ugly plane.;)
