sjsu
In the process of loading the Captain Sim 727-100 base pac I have come to a screen that requires me to to choose L.M. prepar3D V.2 or V.3, I am using a PC with Windows 8.1, what is the correct choice. I did try V.3 and got to a screen that requires a location to load and no matter what I enter the "install" box does not illuminate for me to proceed. No doubt I am doing something wrong, and obviously I am not that swift on the computer. Thanks for your help, Gary
mrzippy
OK, now maybe a suggestion. When you purchased from "wherever", were you given a choice like FSX/FS2004/Prepar3D for your download? Could you have chosen the wrong product? From their site... 727-100 Base Pack FSX/SE version does not work on Prepar3D and vice versa. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! sjsu
That certainly is possible, I will check that out.
evm
The CaptainSim 727 base pack is split in two separate products, one for Prepar3D and one for FSX. If you bought the P3D version, then you cannot use that with FSX. You should talk to CaptainSim, maybe they will let you return and exchange it.
