Adding a Pilot

I have Brett Henderson's c177rg. I would like to add a pilot to it. I have tried to contact him he has not answered. This would be for me and I have no notion of posting it. Just want to know how to add a pilot. Just doesn't look good empty.

I'm thinking that would be part of the model and not likely to happen easily. I going to throw a "red flag" and check with the referee......Upon further review, I wonder if it can be added to the textures??

That's what I was afraid of.

Yeah, I'm afraid it's not easy even though in some of my addon aircraft I can see the pilots that show in the cockpit outside views are in the texture folder, there is something in the Model that calls for it to happen. It's a nice looking aircraft, though!

So there is no easy way around it. I was going to say something about the texture folder but you saw it also. Anyone else have any ideas? If not, this is closed.

No more ideas, but I did learn a lot about it! The modeler has to make a 3-D model of the pilot, place him/her in the cockpit seat and then create the "wrap-around textures" (what is seen in the texture folder) to give the pilot a face and clothes. Like I said...lots of work!

I will do that. I also did more research on this airplane and found that it was sold to someone in Canada. Then in Jan 2010 it crashed on a test hop. Just a few bumps and scratches with the 2 on board, but the plane was totaled. It was registered in Canada as C-GRJJ. Thanks for the tip Scatterbrainkid.
