How about "/N0440F320" and "/N0440F190"? How to read /N0440? Cheers,
PhantomTweak
I haven't a clue what that even IS. It LOOKS like either a flight plan (my bet) or a new version of a METAR. If it IS a flight Plan, the first entry, the Pinar2AR/36R is maybe take-off location, with the 36R being the runway, and the rest being the airport...? Maybe? This is all guesswork. Working from my assumptions, however, the N0440F320 may perhaps indicate a waypoint or intersection, with the F320 being flight level? Again, total and complete guesswork. What do I win if I am close?? Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! bdf369
PINAR2AR is a SID from LEMD, taking off from 36R N0440 is speed in knots (440 knots). Not sure if that's IAS, TAS or ground speed. I agree with above, F320 is flight level http://www.vroute.net/content/view/101/41/
mabe5454
Thanks to all. I keep forgetting since it is not a nomenclature used normally by the FSX flight planner. Cheers,
PhantomTweak
*Sigh* Looks like Mr. bdf369 knows what's what. He wins the prize, whatever "the prize" might be :D Congrats! Great flights to all, and a very happy and fun New Year! It seems like every year they come faster and faster...
