can an airport be added to FSX?

You could search the library here for the ICAO code of the airfield. Maybe someone already created a scenery for it.

Or google the ICAO code or name: "FSX XXXX scenery". There are thousands of payware and freeware addon sceneries out there. Just make sure it is for FSX.

Yes, if you have the sdk and airport design editor you can add a new airport. There are lots of tutorials at fsdeveloper.com. What's the airport code?

KIXA, Halifax-Northampton Regional Airport Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, USA a very small airport.

Did not find it here, but did find it elsewhere

Will try installing that first.

Thanks

Wow! That's pretty neat scenery for the price! I just parked my Honda Jet next to a Skymaster at KIXA.

Which makes me wonder, is there a Skymaster freeware plane out there anywhere? It'd be fun to fly at least once, since a guy up the street owned one and always bragged about how nice it flew. But I don't think it's a plane I'd pay for.

Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

I fly a great Cessna Skymaster. Give me a minute or 2 to find it!
