Good Old Dc-8

Recommended Posts

Hi,

During a Black Friday sale i bought the Just Flight Dc-8 10 to 40 series aircraft. The scrrens below were all taken during it's "maiden" flight. So far, I think it's a very good bird, just that the manual is a little bit short (but yet, informative and well illustrated).

The airport is Alice Springs Intl.

BTW

I know the airline doesn't belong here, but I chose a random version of this aircraft, so that's why I'm flying in such a combination.

Rolling. The rudder is turning right, I'm havin this issue for a time, I'm going to fix it some day when I can acess FSX on my second PC.

Flying using the "stick and rudder". No autopilot, the only thing I've done is tuning in the VOR frequency.

It took JF long enough to finally patch this software that had a bugged HSI...it dropped the frame rates while in turns. At any rate, very nice job on the pics!

Thanks for the comments guys,

Eventually, I guess I'm never gonna fly on a real DC-8, but the Just Flight Dc-8 in FSX is more than satisfying.
