kc9cqr
I finally decided to try my hand at repainting after way to many years using MSFS. For my first go I thought the Just Flight C-152 would be a fun plane. My goal was to learn the basics to give myself foundation to build upon. Overall I am content with the progress. I managed to get the paint lines to match up with little difficulty. I have already started making some changes to the layout. The entire tail section is to distracting with all the white. I have removed the "12" flag and painted the vertical stabilizer the same blue as the bottom and replace the "12" logo. Mike
PAULCRAIG
Good first attempt especially as its difficult to line up the fore & aft fuselage sections on the justflight C152, you might find it easier to have a go at painting something from either TDS or Project Airbus as there paintkits come with a full fuselage layered template (as do many others) which eliminates the problem of lining up different fuselage sections, just paint the full fuselage, save as bmp for left & right fuselage sides & copy & paste onto the relevant textures. kc9cqr
Thanks I will have to look at those. Painting the heavies just seems a bit more intimidating but I will give it a whirl.
PAULCRAIG
Painting airliners is not that hard, pick something with not too much detail, logo's for airlines are easily found if you Google airline x logo but make sure you try & find png images as these images usually have no background, just the logo design & can be copied onto a fuselage etc., Wikipedia is a good source. You can often get colours from logo's to match those used to paint the fuselage also find some good photos of the aircraft you want to paint.
