HoratioWondersocks
Hello In X iam getting what can only be described as swirly (1960s pop band , Doppler type phazer status quo matchstick men)sounds in some aircraft (this occurs in spot mode) This is not a joke. If anybody has an inkling of what iam on about some advice would be appreciated. It may be something in my sound settings ,sound card that needs changing. PS ancient Brits will know about the Quo. Been around since the Wright brothers first took flight. Cheers Andy
ScatterbrainKid
In external view, engine sound changes as you pan around, (especially props), I think it's supposed to be realistic but personally I think they've overdone the changes in pitch and stuff in some planes, but we can usually replace the sound file by overwriting it with a better sound from another plane..:)

I used to get this occasionally with Fs9 , and I seem to remember someone saying it was the aircraft sounds being recorded in stereo or surround sound or suchlike . Its a strange one. PS iam not sure whether the swirly sound is coming from the engines or whether it's environmental sound. Anyways Cheers Andrew
pandersonpc
I sometimes get it with some planes. Hit Q twice (sound off and on), if problem goes away until next cycle through to external view, then would try changing sound set as suggested above if you use that plane frequently otherwise hit Q twice again.
