RAF Scampton ILS landings?

RAF Scampton EGXP ILS Landings? Have I found another flaw in FSX. Runway 4 Scampton the ILS frequency is 110.50 but so is Runway 21 in nearby Waddington . Every time I try and land using ILS at Scampton I pick up the ILS but when I get a little way down the glide slope the plane turns right and heads for Waddington. Does anyone else get this problem?

There is no ILS at the default EGXP, so how could it be a flaw in FSX? You should apologize to Microsoft before your next flight.

Now if you have an add on for that airport and whomever made it put in an ILS without checking the surrounding area, then you might write them a note and ask them to fix their flaw...

"There is no ILS at the default EGXP" FSX does have an ILS on runway 04, So if your version of FSX dosen't then you must have files missing. Just look at the map in FSX and you will see. The exact same thing happens on trying to land at Waddington runway 21 on hitting the glide slope the aircraft veers off to the right.

No ILS at default EGXP. Also, it's runway 05, not 04 as you said in first post.

If your map looks different you have an addon installed.

Also, doesn't the blue on your map mean water?

Here's the default:

Default military airfields in FSX are refered to as, for example, Scampton AB. If your airfield is called RAF Scampton then it must be an addon.

I use Horizon VFR Scenery with UK2000 Airfields. In map view the land slowly disappears when I open it but that dosen't bother me as I never use it. I use FSTramp or FSCommander. I believe both Scampton and Waddington have had runways re-numbered in recent years but in my FSX it is definately 04 at Scampton looking at this pic you may notice both Scampton and Waddington have the same frequency one must be a mistake and the cause of the problem I have trying to land at either Scampton or Waddington.

it's to big for this forum hence the link. Now I don't believe my eyes deceive my but I see runway 04. Note the frequencies for both scampton and waddington in the lower part of the pic

In the Pooley's Flight Guide 2007, Scampton does not have any ILS listing at all, unlike Waddington, Coningsby and Mildenhall. So I wonder if it has one now, and UK2000 added one to it? I use the 2007 guide, and am stuck in that year, because its FSX default!
