flynby
FSX w/acceleration and Win 7 In the new version AICarrier2 conf.d folder, Is it possible to have a choice of which carriers I want to display? If it is, where would this be done? Could I do this in the aicarriers.cfg as a example: //[formation.1] title=FREMM Aquitaine f0 TAC 18X unit.0=VEH_Aquitaine_f0, 0, 0 Would like to remove carriers that give error messages. Appreciate any suggestions
PhantomTweak
You can have as many carrires/formations as you like. Each and every *.cfg file in the conf.d folder is read by the program during it's start-up, and is available to choose from the menu inside the Sim. If you like, you can have sub-bolders to store .cfg files you do NOT want read within the conf.d folder also. Just a kinda handy place to stash more add-ons if you don't want the menu in the game to get too unwieldy. So you can have 5 different .cfg files, with 10 different carriers, and 100 different formations of those carriers and support ships. All selectable from the menus within the sim once it's all started. I am presuming you have AICarriers.NET, and start it when you start the Sim, using the EXE.XML file. AICarriers.NET is the newest, and much better, version of the original program. Orion, of FSDT wrote it. He is also the one who wrote vLSO, another amazingly good little piece of software for practicing CQs. It goes with AICarriers.NET like ham-n-eggs, or PB&J. Does that answer your question?
