	Asked this on Avsim but no reply so far. With both FSX and MSFS now having issues not reloading the flight plan etc. into the FMS/FMC on resuming a save game (even the beloved Level D 767), was wondering how XP12 fares in this respect? Don’t really want to pay out £50 when my interest is primarily long haul heavy iron flights. Otherwise the new sim looks very intriguing.

What I mean is if I start at airport A the AI flies the aircraft to a random airport maybe 100 miles away or nearer, so if I for example decide to pick a large airliner it never flies long distance as perhaps it would in real life.</p><p>
Does anybody know where the file might be that has this radius in it that perhaps it can be edited to increase the radius I was thinking maybe have the edited file for long distance and not use it for short distance flights?</p><p> </p><p>

	Hi everyone.
</p>

<p>
	Unless you are having problems with your present active version you need to be thinking hard before you try the new version.
</p>

<p>
	In my case I had to delete all my preferences and start over, see pic. All my .sit /s were labeled as Paused and the sim locked up.
</p>

<p>
	Another issue that started about 3 weeks ago is that LR requires that you sign in, verify product code on every start.
</p>

<p>
	This was reset / modified on all my older versions, like 1209, somehow and every version that I did not update, I only update one version. Now all the versions I have on that PC now have to be verified every time I start them.
</p>

<p>
	One of the reasons I used XP was the fact that you could go 1-2 weeks after a product verification before you had to do it again. You could take and demo / use it in locations where there was No internet, which was something I use for training.
</p>

<p>
	Unless I find a way around it I will likely have to turn to the Dark side since there is no longer any advantage for me to use XP if I have to use Inet every time I start.
</p>

<p>
	I've been with them since their inception and I've never seen such a mess. I hope they recover, it seems to me that they are trying too hard to sell other people's product by opening their own store... and they subject their customers  to unnecessary hardship and problems.
</p>

	People keep saying the fight model is so much better in XP12 so I'm willing to test for myself but which of the demo or any free downloadable addon planes is the best aircraft to immediately judge this 'amazing' flight model? Thanks in advance.

	Hello, everyone!
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">

</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Over in the FS2004 Forum, the last couple of days there's been discussion about the AT-6 Texan/Harvard/SNJ. I posed a suggestion about the possibility of a potential Challenge/Scenic Flight event featuring that Airplane.<span> </span><a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.flightsim.com/profile/582577-airbasil_1/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="582577" href="https://www.flightsim.com/profile/582577-airbasil_1/" rel="" style="color:#ffffff;font-size:12.6px;padding:0.1em 0.8em;">@Airbasil_1</a> posed the question about a couple of potential Routes that could be flown, so I thought I would ask if anyone would be interested in possibly participating<span> </span>in a Flight or Challenge using the AT-6?
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">

</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	There are quite a few different AT-6 options to<span> </span>choose from that cover a wide range of Sim Platforms, and it's a pretty docile airplane so it might make an ideal airplane for a Challenge. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter to see<span> </span>if we could stir up some interest. I will cross post this in the other Forums so if you've got anything to say, post it either here or over at the Club Chachapoya Club thread. Thanks! <span class="ipsEmoji">🙂</span>

<p>
	I'm just getting started with XP12 And I'm stuck on setting an external view.

<p>

</p>

<p>
	My experience is with FSX,  in the spot view exterior I can use a hat-switch to rotate the view around the aircraft but I can't figure out how to replicate this in XP12.
</p>

<p>

<p>
	Any help would be appreciated.

<p>
	Hi everyone.
</p>

<p>
	XP1212b3 does not respond the same to the .lua script and to reduce / remove some of them, some ghosting still left, needs a different procedure.
</p>

<p>
	There are still the wake / waves, cargo.. that get painted without the direct relation to the boats, see pic. but the body of boats are gone.
</p>

<p>
	Save you r original library.txt located in ….\Resources\default scenery\sim objects
</p>

<p>
	Unzip the library.txt.zip included. just place the unzipped file library.txt in your ….\Resources\default scenery\sim objects
</p>

<p>
	The carriers will still be available and I gained a couple of FPS.
</p>

	Hi everyone.
</p>

<p>
	It looks like LR finally found something they can handle, maybe?, see below.
</p>

<p>
	If you are having trouble with FPS in XP1212b2 part of it is due to the 149? types of boats...
</p>

<p>
	If you want to try and do away with some, you will still have the waves / ghosts, you can try this .lua script.
</p>

<p>
	It gave me a couple of FPS in my low end system.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">
	Make sure you have LUA installed.
</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">

</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">
	Create a file "kill_boats.lua" with the lines below and place it in:
</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">

</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">
	-----\Resources\plugins\FlyWithLua\Scripts
</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">

</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">
	--Start here:
</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">

</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">
	--kill boats 1212b2
</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">
	set("sim/world/boat/total_boat_count", 2) --was 149, can select other values
</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">
	--To here
</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in;">

</p>

	Hi everyone.
</p>

<p>
	It looks like they will not be able to do any better and giving up?
</p>

<p>
	If you have 1209rc5 or 1210rc1 hang on to them, assuming you still want to struggle with this useless app.
</p>

<p>
	Using the same Datarefs and every other means that I know of, rc2 cannot be made to be useful.
</p>

<p>
	In addition to the Flight dynamics which is horrible in the C172, the panel unreadable, and FPS performance atrocious, what else is there to say about it?
</p>

<p>
	I suggest everyone stay away from XP at this time. They seem to have lost self respect and respect for the customers.
</p>

<p>
	See pic include with what the rc2 looks like on all my systems.
</p>
