FS2004 American Airlines DST NC14988 "Flagship Texas". Textures only for the payware MAAM-SIM DC-3 in anniversary repaint to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the first DC-3 flight. American Airlines DST NC14988 "Flagship Texas", model DST-114, C/N 1494 was the first DST (Douglas Sleeper Transport) built by Douglas after the order was gived by American Airlines' president, Mr. Cyrus Smith on July 8, 1935. The plane was ready to his test flight December 14, 1935 and this one was performed by test pilot Carl Cover and Frank Collbohm at Clover Field, near Santa Monica, the December 17, 1935. Thus was the born of the legend. First official acceptance of the first DST by American Airlines was April 29, 1936 and the first commercial services were operated by NC16001 "Flagship New York" at Newark and NC16002 "Flagship Illinois" at Chicago Midway on June 26, 1936.
