FS2004 Air Ferry Viscount 812. Air Ferry of Manston in Kent started in 1963 with Vicker Vikings flying schedules to Europe. Bought by Air Holdings, the owners of British United in 1964, saw the airline relocate to Gatwick. It kept its independance and re-equipped with Douglas DC-4 and DC-6 also leasing Viscounts from Channel Airways. G-AVNJ was one of the Channel aircraft that had started life with Continental of the USA. Delivered to Air Ferry in January 1968 it was returned to Channel in November the same year after Air Ferry had ceased operations on October 31st. The aircraft served one more season with Channel before being withdrawn in October 1969. It was scrapped in June 1972. Requires the FSDS Vickers Viscount 800 model by Rick Piper. By Garry Russell.
