FS5/FSFS Western Lockheed 188 Electra. Western ordered 9 A-models in 1956, with delivery in 1959. 3 options were later exercised. The airline operated the Electra from 1959 to 1972, with the fleet being replaced by Boeing 720s and 727s. Eight of the aircraft were converted to freighters in the late 1960s, with use on the ex-PNA routes. By Kevin Trinkle.
