About This File
FS2004 Bell P-39D Airacobra. This model is an update of the FS2002 version for FS2004. It has a more detailed VC and now has selectable switches. This time the Baron .cfg and .air files were used as a starting point. It is a compromise in order to live within the constraints of FS. The handling is not quite as snappy as a fighter plane, but on the other hand you will not have to fight pitch changes when landing or flying straight and level. You can do rolls and loops if you push the speed up but they are probably not quite like the real thing. Stall characteristics are probably not accurate either. However, you can fly along low to the ground at 250 mph and make steep turns. No 2D panel is included. By John L. Woodward.
