FSFW95 Boeing F4B-4 Navy Fighter Boeing started out as the principal supplier of fighters for the U.S. Navy during 1925-33 as a result of early fighters developed for the Army. The first F4B biplane was delivered in 1932, and a total of 92 were built for the Navy and Marine Corps. After being withdrawn from the fleet they were used as trainers, transports, etc. and finally ended up a gunnery targets. By Terry L. Hill.
