FS2002 USAF Douglas AC-54D Skymaster, tail number D-317199, c/n 22149, ex USAF 43-17199 C-54D-15-DO (DC-4), modified for MATS Air Communications Service in 1955 as calibration aircraft for flight inspection of military NAVAIDs and airfields. Was transferred to the FAA in 1962 and redesignated EC-54D with registration N83, in service at FAA until 1964. Complete with moving landing gear, flaps, ailerons, elevators and rudder. Also features switchable landing lights and realistic engine start. By Harry Follas and Tom Gibson, flight model by Brian Horsey. Repainted and completed with night light textures by Hans Hermann.
