FS5/FSFS Avro Vulcan B Mk 2 XM597. The Avro Vulcan was a British strategic bomber. It served with the Royal Air Force from 1957 to 1993. This particular aircraft was part of the RAF Waddington wing contingent of five aircraft assigned to the Falklands conflict. These aircraft were part operation 'Black Buck'. XM597 was fitted with underwing pylons which allowed it to carry four AGM-45 Shrike anti-radiation missiles. It's painted it as was on June 3rd, 1982 after having made a forced landing in Rio de Janiero. By Keith Clifford.
