FS5/FSFS Curtiss JN-4D Jenny

   (0 reviews)

About This File

The famous Curtiss Jenny was introduced in 1916 and served as the primary U.S. trainer throughout WW I. The Jenny gained an even greater measure of fame after the war, when former military pilots purchased surplus machines and converted them for barnstorming use. This model is based on an earlier model by Matt Standish, which was itself adapted from an FS4 model by Rush Mueller. It features authentic markings of a Jenny based at Ellington Field, Texas in 1918-19. By Andrew W. Hall.
