With my laptop screen resolution on maximum, I was finding it very hard to use FSX due to the small text and boxes.
I put together this utility that reduces the desktop resolution, opens FSX (or any other program) then restores the original resolution when FSX closes.
There is a config file that you can edit with your chosen resolution and chosen program.
FSX will go into higher resolution whilst in full screen mode during use.
