X-Plane 11.50+ Grumman F-14A Tomcat 1.1. The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is an American supersonic, twin-engine, two-seat, twin-tail, variable-sweep wing fighter aircraft. The F-14A was the initial two-seat, twin-engine, all-weather interceptor fighter variant for the U.S. Navy. It first flew on 21 December 1970. Many thanks to Perry for permission to use his HUD ideas, and also Sailor for his continued help with switches, photographs and insignia. When flying this F-14, always have the trim control assigned to your controller or keypad, otherwise you'll end up with far too much up lift.
