About This File

FS98 Rockwell Aero Commander 560. The Aero Commander entered production in the late 1950's and soon gained popularity with regional airlines and private charter/freight transporters. The first prototype made its maiden flight between the factory and the test facility on one engine (the prop for the other one was in the luggage compartment!). In the late 1950's, one aircraft became Air Force One for president Dwight David Eisenhower, on internal flights. By Bill Black and Wells Sullivan (Pegasus Aviation Design). Update (previous version had 1744 downloads).
