Views include aluminum engine, wing, rear passenger looking forward, forward passenger looking aft and two default rear wing. Also includes a modified Aircraft.cfg which has excellent flight characteristics, especially on the ILS glide slope. Invicta also introduced the turboprop Viscount 755 type in the mid 1960s in an effort to break into the inclusive tour passenger charter market and on ad-hoc passenger charters. Supplied with one bare metal livery in a new aircraft folder to which you can add other texture sets in the usual way. Easy to install, this may appeal to those who would like a more contemporary panel for the DC-3 and who have not previously installed Beaumont and Bitzer's various modifications for the default aircraft. The prototype of the Lockheed 10 Electra registration X233Y was tested by Marshall Headle at Mines Field, Los Angeles on February 23, 1934. It first went into service with Northwest Airlines in June 1934, and within twelve months they operated a fleet of thirteen aircraft. In this file you find a detailed PDF documentation of the new FS Design Berlin Project by Arik Hohmeyer: Lockheed Electra L-10A - Northwest Airlines 1934 livery for FS2004. Made with FS Design Studio 2.24 -- coming soon. The new model features full animated moving parts, high detailed and reflective textures and a high detailed virtual cockpit. A suitable 2D panel is also in work and will be offered a little bit later.

FS2004 Douglas DC-3 Three Fuel Tank

FS2004 Douglas DC-3 Three Fuel Tank Modification. This gauge and modification is applicable only to the FS2004 DC-3. Its purpose is to disable FS2004's default characteristic of setting the fuel flow to the engines from "all" tanks. There is no "all" setting on a real DC3. This gauge will disable the fuel flow from "all" tanks, by checking to see if the selection is in the "all" position and if so, changing it to supply fuel to the left engine from the left main tank, and fuel to the right engine from right main tank. It means, however, that you must remember to manually switch tanks to use fuel from all of them during the flight. By Dave Bitzer and Mark Beaumont.

FS2004 Douglas DC-3 Four Fuel Tank Conversion Kit. The default FS2004 DC-3 is configured for three fuel tanks, whereas by design the C-47/DC-3 had four from which to draw. Many airlines using the DC3 commercially blanked off, removed or never installed one tank in order to maximise payload; they were usually operating shorter routes than were typical of the C-47 in military service, This conversion kit gives the option of restoring the aircraft to four tank configuration, giving greater range for long duration flights. Offering realistic fuel management, this option can replace your default configuration or, alternatively, add four tank aircraft to your DC-3 collection. Note that this file will only be of use to those pilots who like to set up fuel and payload properly before a flight; pilots using default FS settings of maximum fuel and full payload will find that the aircraft is over maximum takeoff weight in this configuration.
