   FS2004 Scenery--Olympia Airport (KOLM), Washington (WA), serves Olympia and Thurston County and is owned by the Port Of Olympia. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 5419 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 206 feet at a distance of about 4 miles from Olympia. The Port of Olympia assumed ownership of the Olympia Regional Airport in 1963, although local commercial aviation goes back to the 1920s. In 1997 the Port completed projects and plans that position the airport to take advantage of new aviation markets and make the facility an even more attractive and competitive location for corporate operations. This scenery corrects the problems encountered in FS2004 of the recently released scenery of Montego Bay (Sangster) International airport. It seems as if the airport location in FS2004 was moved slightly causing the scenery to end up back near the hills. Everything has been moved to the new location, and some improvements have been made such as a second story on the entire terminal building, more plants and roadways, and guidance lights which now go right into the Air Jamaica hangars. The parking lot is also deeper since there is now additional space behind the main terminal. This scenery will not work with FS2002. By Bill Melichar.

    FS2004 Scenery--Tahiti International Airport, v2. Adapted to work in FS2004. There were a few issues with the illuminated palms, and some scale problems with the baggage carts and sail boats. Everything has been repaired here, and the scenery now works beautifully in FS2004. It even looks better with the new autogen city of Papeete now extending up into the hills behind the airport. Frame rates are also better with 2004 even with autogen maxed out. The terrain mesh for French Polynesia by Rolf Keibel and John Applegate for CFS2 also works great in FS2004. By Bill Melichar.
