FSX Eurocopter EC-505 Tiger demo version; French Army - TIGER HAP: The Tiger HAP/HCP (Helicoptere d'Appui Protection / Helicopter for Close Protection) is a medium-weight air-to-air combat and fire support helicopter built for the French Army. The Tiger HAP is an air-to-air combat and fire support medium-weight (6 tonnes) helicopter fitted with two MTR 390 engines. It is daytime and night combat capable and is operable in NBC environments. Three basic parameters were taken into account right from the start of the development phase: low (visual, radar and infrared) detectability, which provides excellent survivability on the battlefield, maximum efficiency of the weapons and the associated fire control systems without heavier workload for the crew, and an optimized logistic concept offering minimum possession costs. The Tiger HAP is fitted with a 30-mm gun turret; 68-mm submunition rokets, and air-to-air Mistral missiles. It also features a firing sight with three sensors: infrared, TV camera and direct optical channel. The complete avionics suite includes multi-purpose color displays and radar/laser warning receivers. By Andreas Meyer/AFS Design.

FSX Sikorsky S-70B-6 Aegean Hawk. The Sea Hawk is a naval version of the famous Black Hawk helicopter. Hellenic Navy has a total of eleven Sea Hawks. In Greece they are know as Aegean Hawks instead of Sea because of the Aegean Sea. The Hellenic Navy decided to order five S-70B-6 Aegean Hawks in July of 1991 for use with the four MEKO 200HN Frigates Idra Class. Another three helicopter were ordered and in the year 2000 three more were bought with advanced electronics. This Aegean Hawk mainly is for the FSX, but in case you want to fly it on your FS2004, the needed files are included. The package is complete. FSX Boeing CH-47D Chinook Helicopter, U.S. armed forces, v2.0. This file has new replacement repaint textures and also includes the original CH-47D Chinook model by Mark Adams and Tom Woods. This upgrade contains vast improvements including newly compressed texture files for significantly improved performance and space savings with minimal impact to image quality. All repaints now include actual unit markings and improved olive drab color. Pilots also now have appropriate unit markings. The two Army Chinooks carry unit markings for the 1st Cavalry, 2nd Battalion, 227th Air Regiment. The Marine Chinooks now carry markings for the 3rd Marine Air Wing. Special thanks to Delizisis Thanasis and Delizisis Panagiots for use of their textures as a painting template. This repaint by Mike Lanza.

FSX Hellenic Army Aviation CH-47D Chinook

FSX Hellenic Army Aviation CH-47D Chinook. Greece has fifteen CH-47D's. Nine of them were upgraded CH-47C to CH-47DG in 1995. The other six are CH-47SD. In 1980 Greece ordered ten CH-47C Chinooks. The first arrived in Greece in 1983. The first Greek Chinooks formally belonged to Iran but after the fallen of the Shah they were given to Greece. This package is complete. It features model, virtual cockpit, new panel, sounds, reworked flight dynamics, two textures: olive green and a dessert camo. The original model belongs to Mark Adams and Tom Woods, the reworked flight dynamics to Marwan Latif. The textures represent the olive green of the Hellenic Chinooks and the dessert which appeared until the upgraded of the CH-47C to CH-47DG. By Delizisis Thanasis and Delizisis Panagiots.
