How can I get FSX to stay in VC mode vs 2D?

Full Question: I like flying with VC panel because I am lazy and dont want to "Hat" all over the panel.In FS9 one can select VC/2D. I have not found this available in FSX. I have been using "View" and selecting instrument panel/main.A soon as I leave that view, then come back, I have to reselect it all over again. Any ideas in keeping VC.

Use the S key to change View Categories<br>
Use the A key to change Views within a View Category.<br>
SHORTCUTS:
Press the F9 key to View the VC instantly<br>
Press the F10 key to View the 2d instantly<br>
Use the Learning Center to - well - learn about the new menu system!
Also, in the Settings menu, there is an option for which panel you want as your default (VC / 2D).
