    [font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON Mar-25-03 AT 02:44AM (EST)[/font][p]I just dusted off my old Falcon 4.0 CD (I mean "old" because it came out in 1999) and dowloaded the SuperPak3, which means that "the new benchmark in flight simulation" just went farther! I mean, I have kept this amazing sim for about a year in my desk and since I bought my new system I didn't think about installing it again... Well, in order to fix that (incredibly big and unforgivable) mistake here are some shots of what I have declared "a permanent resident" of my PC. Please enjoy! :-)

    Take a look at this cockpit, it's paradise! Check that ICP, you can feel you can almost touch it! It's heaven, all those gauges and switches...

    Loaded for combat: a Falcon goes down as it prepares for "fence check". Loadout includes external fuel tanks, AIM-120 AMRAAM radar-guided air-to-air missiles, AIM-9M Sidewinder infrared-guided air-to-air missiles and GBU-32/B JDAM GPS-guided "smart" bombs. Check jamming pod under the fuselage

    "Smart load"... Laser-guided bombs for precision attacks. The third of three GBU-12 is released and on its way to target. Cool to see is the stabilizing fins that pop up after weapon release. You can also see GBU-24 loaded on the F-16

    The target: an ammo dump on an enemy base. First bomb hits, then the second one. Note secondaries, they made a big "boom"!

    Direct hit! The target, a MiG-25 "Foxbat" falls uncontrollable to the ground. Fortunately the pilot ejected on time.

    Christian, if your getting back into Falcon, the people that created the SP3 pack hang out at Frugalsworld http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/


    There are a TON of addons that the community has created for that sim still. SP4 is due out pretty soon. http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/s...threadid=18450
