  1. Default European Odyssey - Germany by Thorsten

I followed Thorsten's suggestion for my flight over Germany. It was an excellent route and the instructions
were perfect. I enjoyed every minute of it.
    Thanks Thorsten. :-wave

I found this repaint of the Dreamfleet Cardinal here at fs.com (177bav.zip)and thought it would be
appropriate, especially since I started in Munich (EDDM).

After takeoff, I picked up a heading of 220 degrees on my way to 8000 feet.

Downtown Munich. (and the Olympic Village, I presume?)

Another shot out the rear window. I'm not sure which lake this is but it sure looks nice.

Beautiful! Looks like eye candy to me.

    Approaching Bodensee Lake.

We've been cleared to land on Runway 6 so we need to make our approach over the lake.

I also decided to check out the Zeppelin Museum (online). It looks very interesting.

Due to time (or lack there of) I decided against the second half of Thorsten's suggested flight. (sorry, Jan) :-)

The plane fits to that area like no other, pure bavarian.

Ah yes EDDM, the starting point for almost all my flights.

Wonderful shots man. You flew over my house and the university campus I'm studying at. :-)

And yes, that would be the olympic village.

Thanks everybody, glad you all liked my shots.

Steve - yes I agree, it IS rather unusual. A little loud for
me but I'm trying to color outside the lines these days.
    :-)

Fred - I saw a lot of houses - which one was yours?;-) Looks
like a lovely spot to live. Lucky you.

Thorsten - Thanks again - I really did enjoy the flight. I've
already done another flight from Friedrichshafen to
Ambri - in the Swiss Alps. Hairy approach and
    landing. I'll post those tomorrow.

Jan - Thanks, Jan. Ther good news is you won't have to deal
with that cheese. Why son is no worse - no better - just
    miserable. Thanks for asking.

Chris - Thanks, and guten tag to you too.

Selcuk - Thanks - for the comments and the clarification. Good
    luck with your studies.
