Horizon Retires the F-28

Here's some pictures taken the last day the F-28 operated for Horizon. I didn't take them...the ones I took didn't even come out. The film was damaged.

And, Tomarrow is my first day on the job at EUG Station. I'm excited as can be. My first week and a half will be at the counter. And Wednesday I think it is I'll get my SIDA(Ramp) Card so I can go out and check things out on the ramp. After that is up in the air as my schedule has taken on another change. The 5th of many many more I'm sure:) I was warned about that so I'm not too worried. Hope you enjoyed the F-28 pictures! A great plane retired.

It is actually kinda sad. Lots of people had good memories with that airplane.

Thanks for your comments guys! I was so close to getting to fly on her down to PDX...I didn't have my Company ID badge yet though....Also...I wanted to take some pictures in and around her. They let all the employees out onto the ramp to have some "fun" around the old bird. I wasn't let down to the ramp to do that either:(. Then...to rub it in...I'm eating breakfast at the hotel up in Seattle last week....Run into my soon to be old station manager. She was there too...she said she was looking for me and the other guy with me at training. She would have gotten me down onto the ramp. Ah well. Sometimes things are meant to be that way I guess:).

Pictures soon to come. If I get the AM shift like I want really bad...I'll try to get some pictures of the CRJ we park over-night at EUG starting April 5th. We're gonna have a full ramp to start the day. Ok...so it's only 3 planes ROM'd. hehehehe. It's a big deal for us though:)

Great screenshots and "review" !!!! :-)

The Fokker F-28 "Fellowship" is/was a great plane ! I had the pleasure to fly with this plane twice, route --> Seattle to Boise !
