Reaching "Tanna Island" - Wooow, what is that ? Ok it is a volcano called "Yasur", about 1155ft high (approx. 360m)

I need to get my maps out and figure out where you are! I'm at work right now and I'm accessing my mental database trying to remember where Tanna Island is...I have no clue. My geographical knowledge of that whole area of the world is pretty vague.

Pretty close call, there, with that other plane. Strange to meet up with other guys that closely out in the middle of nowhere.

I know you are starting to head north, but do you have any idea where your halfway point might be?

By the way, two weeks until the house is finished. When I get moved in, I have three weeks until my college exams are over. Then its going to be a non stop flight sim session all through the Christmas holiday-I probably won't come out of my room until January! I plan to start my around the world flight in Texas on December 12 and who knows how far I will get by the second week in January when I have to go back to school. School... x( :-irks

Tanna Island is part of the Vanuatu Islands atoll and is situated about 1300 nm north-east of Sydney !

I think my halfway-point (of the whole tour) will be around Puntas Arenas. (southern part of Chile / will be Leg. Nr. 40-45 or something like that)
