    Default Early Morning Run

    Hi All,

    I've completed the entire YS-11M series, four different ships. Each varies from the other in placement of the cargo door, number and placement of passenger windows, and de-iceing boots, etc... This is ship 9043. It's hard to pick a favorite. :)

    This is an early morning run I did. It was a brisk, rainy and windy morning. I used FSMeteo, and it kept me pretty busy!!

    With a 20kt headwind, we were off in no time!

    Having left Hokkaido far behind, we manoeuver over the Sendai-Wan off Honshu Island's east coast.

    Turning back inland, we are vectored towards home.

    Intercepting the back-course for RWY36, we turn over an as yet unknown city to me! If I'm going to be flying out of here, I better figure out what it is!

    We now set up for our breezy final..we've got a 22kt quartering headwind. We floated in, but it was a bit off-kilter!

    Someone in one of those buildings downtown was watching us as we approach the field.

    Well, that was fun! Let's head in for some hot cocoa! We got a couple hours to kill before we go back for another run to New Chitose. :)

    Thanks Ash! I like that shot too. It was a hairy landing!

    Am I gonna' tell you about the surprise?? No way Jose! I'm still gathering materials for it, but it looks promising! :)
