Those look good...only thing is that last one looks very doctored....
Seen the first one before. I have personally seen very similar fly bys while on board carriers. They do that type of fly by every cruise. Very good for morale.
Last one is real as well.

Ugh...we've been over this a million times before...ITS REAL FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!!!!!!
On a humid day, as an airplane reaches a certain Mach number, usually above 0.95, the rapid compression and expansion of the air (caused by the gathering shock waves) condenses the water into a cloud surrounding the aircraft in the shape of the shock wave. Bear this in mind...this usually happens over an ocean, as there is enough condensation nuclei (microscopic junk floating in the air) to form clouds rapidly...it is a rare sight to begin with, even more so over a body of freshwater.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-09-02 AT 11:31PM (EDT)[p]I only have two things to say,
1. If I was those guys I would not be looking over the deck, but be running for my life as it looks like that F-14 is about to go belly up right on top of the deck, though it could be a very tight role by the deck.
2. I did not know that a Boeing 707 came in an amphibian version. Doesn't look very effective though. (just kidding)

Isn't that first pic edited? I remember seeing a picture of a stone statue of an F-14 or something and that looks just like it.

The aircraft in the water, where are the engines? You cannot see the engines on the right wing and yet you can see the Horz stab which is underwater.

I have a small video clip of the sonic boom.
