The shots were taken from the default Baron 58. The artist in me struggled with cropping out part of the sky in shots 3 & 4 :-groggy but I left all of these pure screenshots.

Personally: #1: 1% of the time ; #2: 4% ; #3: 95% ; #4: <1%

I just gotta be seeing the landscape. How 'bout you?

You left a few views out of the survey. (Tower / Spot)

Takeoff- 2d cockpit view
cruise- VC / Spot view
Approach- VC
Landing-2d / VC and sometimes Spot.

Difficult to say off the top of my head, but i'll agree with Jeff, about the other views as i do a lot from Spot view once up and running so to speak.

I'd say its about 50/50 between normal 2D and VC mode for me. VC mode needs to get better before you can do everything within that although i prefer the 'feel' of it and the greater view it gives if you move back a notch..

From what I hear FS2004 will have no more 2D panels & will rely on VC. Hope it gets a lot better too & believe it will. I will miss the 2D panels if this is so. Thanks again & I'm looking forward to more great aircraft shots.

Hi David, I fly mostly with the 2D panel, but on landings and when just looking to the scenery, I use the fourth one.

Cruise= 2D/VC/Spot view
Approach= 2D/VC
Landing= 2D/VC

Usually just lookin' at scenery in my Archer II so I am in the VC most of the time.

I tend to fly in VC with it at 0.50 zoom. I use the 2D only when adjusting instruments.
