Default Pima Air & Space Museum AMARC - Real Pics

Ok Folks,

I have finally gotten around to posting some of my Vacation Pictures in an on-line Gallery. There are over 240 Pictures of the Museum and AMARC (Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center) Located at Davis Monthan AFB, Tuscon, Arizona. I was there on AUgust 8th. The AMARC tour is only by bus through the museum, with Proof of Residency, Passport, or ID. You are not allowed off the bus do to security concerns.

The Pictures are taken with a Fuji Finepix 4900z Digital camera. They are in 1280 x 960 size. They are thumbnailed 12 to a page, so people will be able to click on each one. I hope you enjoy your journey into what my sons and I saw. (Wife stayed up in Phoenix for the day) :-)

One you are on the site and you click on the photo, click original for full size.

Here is a small taste. Remember, quality is not up to my high standards, since it was through a tinted tour bus window. But I tried.

Regards,
Joe :-)

Thnaks, everyone. I appreciate the comments. BTW - The F4 Phantom is still my all-time favorite Fighter Jet.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-17-02 AT 01:34AM (EDT)[p][Having experience of having many images shot down in flames, The only one you should consider trying is the shot with lots of helis and stuff, and the one with the F-4s. The first will most likely be rejected for window reflections, the others need less cropping. Planepictures.net is a totally different story. All of them could be accepted there except the window shot :). Thats why I prefer planepictures.net 100 times more than airliners.net, although airliners.net has many more pics.

If ya wanna see my successes, look up Jeff Kemp at planepictures.net :).

I agree with Joffie. Clean some of those up, make some interesting comments for them and they have a good shot. They can be a bit more picky then Planepictures.net. I would send them to both.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-17-02 AT 12:16PM (EDT)[p]Hi,

Thanks for the compliments. :-)

I do appreciate them. When I put them in the gallery, they were as is. It takes some time to crop, sharpen, soften, edge, or whatever, and I just don't have the desire to see my work on those sites. I rarely go to those sites, but I will occasionally click on one here and there.

I do clena them up and rotate them as backgrounds on my desktop, but that is about the extent of it.

My enjoyment comes from seeing them closeup, and my pictures remind me of those memories.

Perhaps I will take one or two and submit them for kicks and giggles. We'll see.

Again, Thank you and I'm glad you all enjoyed them. :-)

Regards,
Joe
