Default Dash 7 wmp video Awesome plane by Milton Shupe

[b]This is one awesome STOL aircraft for FS2002. It doesn`t look
like the type of aircraft with 4 engines that can land in 250 Ft, but it can! Made a flight from Ranger Creek to Emma Field! Enjoy the flight. Now I just gotta get some Hammerheads in this plane on tape ;)

The sounds come FSSoundscape by Lago. It was an add-on made
for the Ranger Creek and Flying M Ranch. Emma field does not
require soundscape to get those sounds it comes with it.

Well this is my generic answer I keep stored for questions like this. Read it carefully!

I`ll try and explain!! We`ll start with my system specs, that will explain a lot!

    MOBO- Gigabyte GA-7DX
    Processor- AMD 1.4 GHZ
    RAM- 1024 MB PC2100 266HZ
HD- Maxtor 7200 RPM 60 Gig
    Video- ATI Radeon 64DDR vivo
Sound- Creative Sound Blaster Live 5.1
    Speakers- Klipisch Promedia 5.1
    450 watt 6 pc.
    CDRW- Aopen 12x10x32
    DVD- Pioneer 16X
    Modem- Intel 56k/fax
    Cable modem- Toshiba PCX 1100
    Printer- Canon S520
    Scanner-Microtek Scanmaker 3800
    Moniter- Viewsonic E90 19" .22 DPI
Second moniter- Panosonic 20" TV/VCR combo
    second VCR- Sharp 4/Head Hi/Fi
    OS- Windows XP home Edition
Video software- Ulead Video Studio 6

What I basically do is videotape my flights after setting up
    my dual moniter display.

I then play back the tape and re-capture the clips I like in Ulead video Studio 5, now upgraded to 6.

From there I can trim the clips and arrange them where I want them and add up to 4 sound tracks including ATC I have recorded.

Special transitions and effects and finally it allows me produce the video in any media format. I make DVD`s,
    SVCD`s ,VCD`s ,MPEG2 , MPEG1 ,
Windows media, Quicktime, Real Media, and with my upgrade MPEG4
which takes video compression to new levels of quality.

The video software is the most important part and learning how to use it.

Been making flight sim video`s going on 4 years now and has it ever come along ways since I first tried making my first video.

This is a question I`m constantly asked!! Some enthusiests think its really quite easy to do! When I first started I must have wasted over 50 CD-R`s learning how to get it set up right to burn the video`s.There is a pretty steep learning curve for those who think they can jump right into it, and lots of fustration to follow. Research is very important.

Well I hope this helps out some, Its the longest explaination I`ve ever written.

Awesome plane! Can't wait to download it.. Love the video, I hope you do more. I would do without the transitions tho, the whole 3-d cube thing got tired real quick (there is a reason they don't use such transitions in feature films :p ) Use your videos to show of your planes, not your fancy video editing software ;) and stick to a simple cut... Other than that, the video is just about perfect, tells a good complete story...! More more!

btw -- what technique did you use to capture the video? Did you use a second computer?

Glad you liked the video, To answer your question though you
didn`t read my post above very well while you were critiqueing
my technique. I use the transitions to remain different from
others. I have released dozens of video`s here but 9 times out
10 nobody replies to them and it quickly gets pushed on.
