Sometimes my FS2002 gets messed up. I would just be pressing buttons like F6 or G, and suddenly my flight simulator would pause. It would litteraly pause, and say "PAUSE - Press P to Unpause" on the bottom. I wouldn't press any button near P, but after some random presses it would pause. It is annoying and ruins framerates!!!

It sounds like your key assignment got mixed up somehow. Check to see if the keys you mentioned are assigned to the pause action (if there is a pause action in the first place... hmm, don't know).

If that doesn't work you might try deleting the fs2002.cfg file. WARNING: you will lose all your fs2002 setting (not scenery and aircraft), so you will need to tune everything again. After deleting start FS and a new, default fs2002.cfg file will be created. Make backup in case things don't work out allright, of course.

I've had, very rarely, an uncommanded action occur. I don't know the cause or cure, but there may be a bug floating around. It's only happened to me three or four times in the last 2-3 months.
