Default Woops, and I was able to control it on the runway too!!!

LAST EDITED ON Jan-03-02 AT 09:35PM (EDT)[p]Somehow I was able to hold it straight on the runway, after a wing strike (and removal from the airplane). Oddly enough, the plane still acted like it had 2 engines, and all 3 gear, but I held it together! :-lol...this was at KASE after turning base to final about 1/4 mile out and being unable to correct at low altlitude...HA!

I like the way you add "and removal from the airplane" so calmly after mentioning the wing strike :-). Nice work!

Yup! As the good ol man once said...any landing you can walk away from is a good one!

    Cool!

I agree with the sentiment, and have often joked to pilots of the heavy metal after "crunching one on," : "Any landing where you don't have to use the slide..."
