    Hi guys,
Thanks for the comments...it's a great way to start my day! :)
FSmeteo is a great program, but it's not free. The exact cost escapes me, but it was somewhere around $20.
What it does is update your weather enroute every six minutes or so, so that no matter where you are you are getting the most current conditions, (to the extent that FS allows.) It also workss well with cloud packages.
I use it all the time. The only downside is that there are some places on this planet...and I certainly haven't been everywhere!...where it doesn't work for lack of weather reporting stations. But that's the same with all the weather programs, I think. (I've only encountered this in some parts of Russia and China so far.)

The other thing is you should be operating on a DSL or some other high speed line for the best results. The main reason being that you probably don't want to be tying up your line by staying connected for your whole flight!

Thanks again for your compliments...I didn't have the energy for a full-blown story last night, glad to see you enjoed it anyway!

    See Ya,

    Chuck :)

    Hi nickelbart,

Yes, I flew it IFR. The airport has ILS, but they vectored me to a visual 23R approach. I was sent around to make right traffic for a visual approach to rwy 5L. So I went around and flew the ILS for rwy 5R, then "sidestepped" to 5L. (A technique I've seen used in Cleveland quite often.) Warning:This doesn't work all the time everywhere! I only did it because I had a visual on my intended runway, and they weren't that far apart.

    Regards,
    Chuck :)
