the first McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 is a? B/D Hornet or a F Super Hornet?
the second one is a F/A-18E Super Hornet

I guess the Hawkeye, hasn't gotten his upgrade to 6 bladed propellers yet...

Most kind Peter.. Camera is Sony F707, same one as Jeff S has.

Morgan, that Hawkeye was simply unbelievably loud.:-) It was over the far side of the airfield and you could still hear it as clear as ever, even when it went behind the trees as anyone that knows Farnborough will know the back taxiway to the new hangers and Tower.

Hey Francisco, I was looking for any visual clue in the first two shots, but didn't find any (I could be terribly wrong); can you tell me what gave it away for you to know, or were you live at the show...

    thanks in advance

I think the front of the intake on the first picture gives it away (F/A-18F) The cover is straight edged but slanted (not recessed, vertical and curved as a A/B/C/D would have. Then the two cockpits (duh) make it an F.

I was trying to find a good picture of a D from a similar angle to show, but I can't. See the outline of the intakes in the shot included here? I have thoughfully outlined them in a garish and ugly color ;-).
