    Default Misty morning departure.........

It was a misty morning when we departed Beijing for Shenyang, the air so thick you could slice it. And slice it we did, with the piercing roar of our Rolls Royce Darts shattering the morning solace.

We settled in, and checked the weather en-route. A few clouds, but nothing out of the ordinary. it looks to be a pleasant morning.

Our NAV radio malfunctioned on the way, and we had to request a visual approach. Glad we had good weather.

45 minutes later, and were off again...destination: Pyongyang.

This time, the forecast calls for overcast skies and light rain. (Good thing we got the radio fixed.) But for now, it's time for a little sightseeing.

We're almost there, and the weather is making visibility a problem, but I've been here before, and I'll be here again. It's almost routine.

Well, it was a short day, but we had some fun along the way. Time to bring her in and head for the hotel.

I'm using FSMeteo, with clouds by FSSkyworld. I just found a new toy on another site that I've been waiting for! An Ilyushin IL-18, badly weathered. Can't wait to take it for a real spin, just did a test hop and it's awesome! Gotta put a good panel and some sounds in it though. I put the Connie panel and the C-130 sounds in mine. I'll fine tune it later!

Hi Rey, I got it on Avsim. It's a real nice plane, and I like the way it is weathered. I sure would like a nice shiny one in my stable though... What are your plans for paint? Nice job on the -14 and -114 by the way... I don't like to rush into new aircraft, but I've had my eye on those! I'm a big fan of Russian metal. :) Chuck
