i really need detailed help of how to fly an ils landing.ie what buttons need pressing on the panels. what not to press basically everything.also when flying a flight plan that i make, do i have the gps switch on and nav button on.if so when the aircraft picks up the localiser do i change the gps and nav button to something else please help. im really stuck here thanks

The Nav button needs to be on as well as the NAV 1 button.

Goto map view and click on the airport you are landing at, then go down to the runway to will be landing, then look and you will see the ILS frequency.

Enter the ILS frequency into NAV 1 and there you go.

You can now use EFIS to make floating boxes you can fly through to the correct touchdown point on the runway.

The floating boxes appear when EFIS is enabled with the localizer. Rod Machado demonstrates landing technique with these boxes in his landing lesson #1. They are useful in learning the proper glidepath to the runway.

Have you read the manuals and taken the flight lessons???

Delta or United will be glad to demonstrate an ILS landing for
under $900 and they don't have those nasty manuals to deal with
and no homework or practice....what a deal

I would really recommend doing the flight lessons and perhaps looking online at some of the excellent sites that tell computer pilots how to do instrument work. You really got to learn the basics and how things work before you can just bomb around the skys.
