Aircraft Exits (Main/Emergency?)

I was eyeing through the aircraft.cfg files and I found this line:

[exits]
number_of_exits=2
exit_rate.0=0.4 ;Percent per second
exit_rate.1=0.4 ;Percent per second

which makes me wonder if you can open more than just the main exit. Any thoughts on this?

Yes, you can. Hitting only SHIFT+E opens the main exit, but hitting SHIFT+E, and than (after releasing the keys) hitting 2 (3, 4) on the keyrow on top of the keyboard opens 2 or more other exits.
