Default Best (or affordable) computer for FS2002

First, let me say many thanks to all you geniuses of computers
out there who are educating dummies such as I. Yesterday while
going through forum posts, a person named krakee asked question
"Best Equipment for FS2002?". Many generous persons took the
time to give excellent info on the subject. Of them all, I was
most impressed with the response from person named travisjd2001.
From the info this person gave, it got me to thinking. It would
be awful nice for people buying new equipment, or upgrading
existing hardware, if there was a standard form (similar to
the flow of travisjd2001 info) listing hardware that was, in
each contributors opinion, best for FS2002. It could start out
with the Case, followed by Motherboard, Graphics Card, Etc.
Perhaps most important first, but you get the idea. It should
list the model number of each part to make it easier when the
interested person is going through sites such as newegg.com.

This might be a bad idea but it sounds good to me. I realize it
is time consuming but many good people on this forum don't seem
to mind the time it takes to help others. Thanks again.

Do you mean that lots of people would have a list with what they think is the dream computer for FS2002? That sounds good. I'm sorry if I misunderstood this... :-wave

If you're looking for a cheap way out, I can tell you that my 733/512mb with Geforce2MX 32mb handles the sim quite well. Everything isn't maxed out, but a good compromise can be made and the sim is fully enjoyable.
